Title: Help - Charts for Darwin region

Hello from Germany!
I'm Veronika a student of meteorology. I have to do this week a weather forecast and analyses of Darwin. The problem is that I'm just used to Europe meteo pages. I would like to know if there is a other modell than gfs? And i like to know where a vertical cut (temps, humidity) is. Aswell do I need a card with relative topography 500/100hpa and geo potential 500hpa all in one. Than i need a pseudo potential temperature card in 850hpa. Aswell would be good a card for equivalent potential temperature and Theta_e. I know that here are lots of links but it's bit hard for me to find the right and a good one. I would be very happy if someone helps me!

Hi Veronika,

GFS is the only model that will give you that level of detail easily. Other model output is available but you cannot directly compare output as detailed as GFS.  However you can compare model output including 850 hPa, 500 hPa and many other charts at Weatherzone:

You will need to register to see some of the charts. There is a subscription service for $5 per month which will give you full access to all model output including charts at the state level (like the attached examples from the Bureau of Meteorology MLAPS model)
