Tornado Alley 2003 DVD Review

This DVD captures the third episode of Jimmy Deguara and David Croan's storm chasing adventures in the United States.

Over a month of supercell and lightning highlights are presented from eleven of the chases undertaken during the trip. Unfortunately for David, he had to leave the US on the 3rd June, but that got the Great Plains really into gear with a couple of incredible chases for Jimmy and temporary chase partner Tim Marshall.

The truly breathtaking sculptured HP supercell beast in West Texas, and the atmospheric vacuum inflow dominant supercell in New Mexico are stand outs !

The final chase on the DVD sees Jimmy and Ted Best in northwest Texas. There they encounter two supercells, the first with a brief tornado and the second a magnificent LP storm.

Timelapse sequences feature in most of the chases along with the most interesting storm features and full on lightning.
