Title: Presentation at the Mill Park Library

You may recall Jack Chan enquiring about a presentation for his library. Well that was today, had a good turnout, got interviewed by a local reporter and photographed, and ran for an hour and a half(so much for an hour pressie lol), plus question time afterwards, everyone really seemed to enjoy the pressie, shame the movies didnt work due to an incompatibility with WMP.

A Great experience, and one I hope to do again, if anyone would like a copy of the presentation, feel free to enquire.
Special Thanks to Jimmy and Michael for allowing me to used the referenced images from ASW for the presentation, they were greatly enjoyed.

Hi John,

I am glad it went well and yes I know what it is like to have non-standardisation of windows media files. That is a lesson one must learn when giving presentations especially if the quipment is not yours.

What I did in preparation for this last year was to have the videos separate and showed them at the end in a specific order - like a countdown. Here is the one I did last year:

It still was worthy of being placed online even without the videos.

Hey guys.  I've got that presentation link up and have downloaded the requisite powerpoint thing but I have no sound?  Does that presentation come with sound Jimmy from that link?

No sound at all Mike - I talk with it - that's the sound. Video has not been included as stated above and I showed with each countdown slide on the night. By the way it was the first LP supercell talk that I know if mentioning anything about LP supercells in Australia! I know of no official documents of LP supercells in this country prior to this! Someone please prove me wrong.

Cool.  Will view it later on.  From what I've seen it certainly looks informative.  Have you given further presentations on any significant storm events of late?
