Just curious to who here is a member of the Storm spotters network.
If you dont know what I'm talking about, The storm spotters network is run by the B.O.M to help them gain information from the field by volunteers to help them develop models and provide weather warnings.
If you are not a member, i recommend coming one as its something we already like to do and were helping as we do it.
For more information visit the B.O.M site.

Troy,
I can say I am one of the first of the Bureau of Metoeorolgy Storm Spotters that signed on in 1989 but now not the most active - in fact far from it. I do a lot of storm chasers but now don't have much time to get messages through. Wish there was a better way. My concentration is always on the chase and associated safety. Now that I am also have an online membership, I can enter stuff online.
Regards,
Jimmy Deguara

I joined up years ago when I lived in Gosford, then changed to Adelaide. Never saw any that needed reporting though. Should change it back again now I am back in Sydney.
