NSW/SE QLD Storms 24-25 September 2011

So we had a bit of a storm come through Coffs last night(semptember 24) with infrequent lightning. I watched it move out to sea from Boambee Headland at Sawtell. Lightning was hard to see with so much low cloud and thick haze/fog but I got a few keepers, really only nice for the city lit clouds. I saw quite a big storm move out to sea down the coast around Port Maquarie with strobe lightning, its just that bit to far to shoot from Sawtell.

I cant believe what hit Ballina today omg

My dad sent me these pictures of the hail that hit in Ballina today and he will soon see if he can upload his video

Went camping out in the scrub near inverell on the 24th passed through Glen Innes in the arvo where a bit of a storm front went over.


woke up at around 1am in the morning to watch sheet lightning for about an hour.
snapped this one through the trees.
