Hi,
I was wondering if there is any sort of database that tracks hails storms around australia, measuring hail damage and location.

The BoM has databases from their state-based storm spotter networks but there is no central real-time tracking of events. Hail which meets the severe category (2cm diameter or larger) is reported in the significant monthly weather summaries:
