I got 28.4c at mine today, although not far up the road at Beerburrum it was 29.6c at 3pm but wont know the max till tomorrow as it only has an observation every 30 minutes. Not sure if this is a record for Beerburrum as it would be in Brisbane though.

Some reports for the Northern Rivers and the Mid North Coast areas is that of  maximums today, 17/08/09, between eight and ten degrees above average. Kempsey Airport hit 31 degrees, nine above average and their warmest August day in eight years. Similarly, Dorrigo rose to 26 degrees, ten above average and their best in 12 years.

Got to 30.0 at my place: McLeans Ridges, didn't feel that hot partly due to the lowish dew points. Not one of those 30 type days of summer with full-on humidity !
