Some storm warnings issued for Southern NSW from BOM
For people in parts of the
SOUTH COAST,
SOUTHERN TABLELANDS,
ACT and
SOUTH WEST SLOPES Forecast Districts.

Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce large hailstones, very heavy rainfall, flash flooding and damaging winds in the warning area over the next several hours. Locations which may be affected include Bega, Cooma and Tumbarumba.

For people in the ACT and parts of the SOUTH COAST, NORTHERN TABLELANDS, SOUTHERN TABLELANDS, NORTH WEST SLOPES, NORTH WEST PLAINS and SOUTH WEST SLOPES Forecast Districts.

Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce damaging winds in the warning area over the next several hours. Locations which may be affected include Canberra, Goulburn, Armidale and Moree.
Looking at current radar and charts, and as BOM has mentioned in latest update, it seems to be tending towards strong winds as the main threat.
