Purchasing video camera ideas

I am also tempting at the idea of getting a video camera so i can film my afternoon and night chases as well as where i stop to get a better vantage point  ;D if a tornado does appear out of the sky my cd player will going full blast with either Boys From The Bush or The New Bush in it

I've been thinking about getting a video camera, i saw one at strathfield that can record in hd for 350 bucks, just a cheapo brand but i think it'll do the job for me. All i have at the moment is my normal camera with a video setting but its poor quality.
