Supercells have exploded across Colorado into the Oklahoma and Texas Panhandles, as the year's first Moderate Risk has been issued by the
Storm Prediction Center. Tornadoes and extremely large hail are possible this afternoon from southern Wyoming all the way to the Rio Grande valley in south Texas, with stronger tornadoes a concern late this afternoon in the panhandle region as shear and instability are maximized.
