Rail staff treated after train fire at Central Station
READ MORE TO VIEW GALLERY & VIDEOPolice are investigating the cause of a fire that left a train thick with smoke.At around 1.45am, State Rail Fire, NSW Fire Brigade, Police and a fleet of Ambulances were called to Central Station Railway.It’s reported that a seat had caught fire in one of the carriages, causing toxic smoke to travel throughout the train. The train had terminated at Central Railway.Security guards from Rail Corp boarded the train and extinguished the fire.
