understanding CAPE
« on: 09 January 2007, 11:37:37 AM »
I've located an online 'classroom' with animation and audio that explains CAPE to its fullest.  The lesson is in several 'pages' but each page explains the technical, scientific and general thesis on CAPE and how parcels of air form into storms.  It's fantastic and for those like me who know little about it, it explains SKEW-T soundings, has graphs, animation through audio tutorial and lists the context of each pages' lesson on the side of animation/video.

Worthy of a look at tornadochaser.com and go to the bottom of the page and click on CAPE class.

You won't be disappointed.
