Mike, I always like to see pics afterwards of what I actually saw with my eyes even if i did not take any photos.  There's some gratification for oneself that you saw the supercell or storm and everything after that confirms it for you.  They were good photos showing the size and structure - hopefully you weren't that far away that they looked small!

I was watching the whole thing from just west of Edmonton's downtown core - that's about 100 km from the town of Drayton Valley itself as the crow flies. The supercell was probably only slightly closer when I first saw it. However, the meso was big enough that I had little need for binoculars when it was only about 40-50 km away!

These two photos below are from the Tornadovideos.net website and they show practically the exact way I saw that supercell. The bottom one appears to have been taken from Edmonton or one of its bedroom communities. Note, these photos below are not mine - they are copyrighted by Dale K. and Kenny A, respectively.
