Well ,well Gabu has plans in store perhaps? JTWC has cancelled further advices but is keeping an eye on it. NT BoM just issued a storm wind warning for gabu in our waters. Models and track maps show gabu sitting at the top of our Gulf by Thursday perhaps. Our waters are currently at 28-30C - quite a nice environment for this thing. I almost wrote it off, but it seems this system is still worth watching a little longer yet. yesterdays satpic shows one of the deep convective storms as we mentioned earlier...interesting! JTWC say that there's LLC (low level circulation) and that's about it, i think the waters in the area it is in are not helping somewhat and there's a lack of storm activity around it to assist.
