Wow seeing this new footage it actually shows the size of the tornado, despite what the media are saying this is anything but a mini tornado. Its amazing an F1 strength tornado could actually grow this big, develop twin vortexes and a pronounced wedge shape. If anyone deserved to capture the footage it was jimmy well done mate! Under the circumstances i think that mother did a great job to, nice low base, good rotation and a nasty beast of a storm and wallah! Tornado for the masses!
the other amazing thing about this particular tornado was its longevity, it sure took a while to make its mind up whetherto make contact but when it did it was on for young and old, rarely do we experience such tornadoes in australia. Oh and BTW MB, jimmy you guys have copped way to much hail to the headthat was intense and you were so close, someone mentioned before you were only juuuust out of the debris field, ill leave that up to you the pictures make me shiver as it is..........

Hi,

I am not sure whether it has already been posted, but here is another video of the Dunoon tornado taken from the northwestern perspective:

And you guessed it - another video from a different perspective!

This highlights to me that we really are not that isolated in seeing tornadoes given the technology that now exists!
