Heavy Rains Coming To Texas!
         



The storm system that is now affecting California is forecasted by models to dig south to Mexico, exemplifying a typical El Nino storm system. Within the next few days the stronger dynamics will overspread an area of increased gulf moisture advection. This combination will take place over central and southern Texas and create some very heavy precipitation. We could see some rain totals in excess of 6 inches as per the QPF that some of the  models are indicating! These areas the last few years were dealing with some extreme drought conditions... we could see some major flooding in the same areas with this system!{jcomments on}
