Moderate Risk! Tornado watches issued!

Supercells have exploded across Colorado into the Oklahoma and Texas Panhandles, as the year's first Moderate Risk has been issued by the Storm Prediction Center. Tornadoes and extremely large hail are possible this afternoon from southern Wyoming all the way to the Rio Grande valley in south Texas, with stronger tornadoes a concern late this afternoon in the panhandle region as shear and instability are maximized. The live streams are in full force, with chasers positioned up and down the dryline so be sure to check out the Live page immediately! This is just the latest in a multi-day outbreak, as a Moderate Risk has already been issued for parts of Arkansas tomorrow, and Saturday looks like a potentially dangerous day for the lower Mississippi Valley/Mid South!
