Upslope madness continues!
The as the latest "upslope" chase event is materializing this afternoon, with tornadoes and extremely large hail possible into the evening. Very strong shear will be present over an area of moderate instability stretching from southeast Wyoming into northeast Colorado and western Nebraska, making the environment favorable for supercell thunderstorms with strongly rotating updrafts. As such, a tornado watch has been issued for this entire area. Tomorrow looks like a potentially more significant severe weather event for western and central Nebraska.
