Westfield Bondi Junction escapes underground flooding
READ MORE TO VIEW GALLERYStaff from Westfield Bondi Junction had their hands full after it was discovered a large sump pit with a capacity of approximately 200,000 litres had reached its limit.Fire Rescue crews from the Rocks, City of Sydney and the State Rail were called to assist in emergency pumping operations as the water level had breached containment levels. The water had begun to breach the rail line and the sump pump in the station was near its capacity.
