Two police officers praised for saving family from fire in Vaucluse
READ MORE TO VIEW GALLERY & VIDEOTwo police officers from the Rose Bay Local Area Command are being praised by their supervisors and the family they rescued early this morning.At around 2.30am, police were conducting routine patrols along Old South Head Rd when they came across plumes of smoke. Upon further investigation, the two officers found a house alight in Russell St.Calling for urgent backup and fire brigade support, the two Senior Constables kicked down the front door to gain entry.
