Melbourne severe drizzle
« on: 28 October 2006, 07:57:21 AM »
Hi all, well Melbourne has finally turned on some impressive weather today.  I'm calling it a severe drizzle at this stage.  A PDS may well be issued on this situation if it gets any worse :D  Seriously though, in the 4mths I've been back from the USA trip I can only remember seeing rain during the day in Melbourne twice and this is hardly rain.  Bring on some pea size hail or something! I need a storm.  By the way I just bought a 400D with the twin lens kit and also scored a nice Canon EF-S 17-40 wide angle lens off ebay so Im ready to go.  Pity there's no storms down here.

Brad.

Hi,

I must say this may go down as one the worst starts to any storm season that I have observed. Usually by late October there has been something substantial. But it seems the patterns are indicating change - moisture is fighting its way inland. The next few weeks could see something decent.
