Interesting cloud formation Brisbane 24/06/09
« on: 25 June 2009, 04:22:15 AM »
As I was taking my daughter to school for band practice at 7.45 am, I noticed the following cloud formation. I dont think it was from a drunk pilot, or one that was lost with the heavy fog we had this morning either. It lasted for about 15 minutes and slowly moved from west to east. I went to use my camera but the batteries were flat and I had no spare, the photos are from my phone.

Hi Col - it does appear to be two aircraft contrails that have ended up in that pattern due to the winds.  Was certainly a day for contrails with a few spotted around here earlier too.
