More severe weather today - tornadoes possible in Iowa

Explosive thunderstorm development has begun across southern Iowa, where a tornado watch has been issued and will remain in effect until 10:00 PM local time. Extremely large hail will be possible with storms that do fire, but of greater concern is the chance for strong tornadoes, given suggestive 0-3 km EHI values. To the south, a severe thunderstorm watch has been issued for parts of northern Missouri and eastern Kansas, where an intense squall line is racing east and producing damaging hail and high winds. All of this comes as a result of the same system that impacted these areas yesterday, which has remained mostly stationary, but today there is not as much of an issue with capping so storm development has been less inhibited. There are numerous chasers in the  field right now, so as always, be sure to follow their progress on the http://www.tornadovideos.net/live
