Further rainfall is forcast for the remainder of today. Wiangaree peaked near 10.10 metres at midnight with minor flooding, water levels have now begun to fall. There is currently moderate flooding at Lismore with water levels continuing to rise. Further heavy rainfall may cause increased flooding. For further information contact the State Emergency Service - phone 132500 River Height Predictions Lismore - exceed 9 metres [AHD] around 9am [2/2/01] - Peak near the major flood level [9.7 metres AHD] around 3 pm today [2/2/01]. - Further heavy rainfall may cause an increase in flood levels.
