Northern Rivers Storms and Gold Coast Lightning: Saturday 24th June 2006

Foggy then mostly sunny. Mild and humid with light winds or calm. Cloud band with embedded storm cells to west slowly spread over. Stronger cells Casino and west of Kyogle. The Kyogle cell dominated and moved over from the NW.
Torrential rain and a lot of lightning clearing to the east. Further storm observations at Lennox Head with Rodney Wallbridge.
Lightning this evening along the Gold Coast.
