Cloudy. Very humid day with variable winds. Large supercell thunderstorm on the Northern Tablelands produced thick anvil cloud spreading across the Northern Rivers. This cell tracked towards the NNW from west of Dorrigo to Tenterfield.
Powerful evening lightning with massive anvil crawlers and multiple embedded thunderstorm cells into late evening.
Storm chase with Rodney Wallbridge and Beck Armytage to Mallanganee then back around to Kyogle via Bonalbo and Woodenbong.
CG barrage and torrential rain from a storm cell at Wiangaree.
Some great anvil crawler lightning by my daughter Katrina from home.
