A good setup for Southeast Queensland today with a little activity expected on the Northern Tablelands as well.

Headed off on a "sort-of" chase with Rodney Wallbridge leaving the overcast Northern Rivers behind.

Some very heavy showers just west of Casino and some persisting weak thunderstorm activity around Tenterfield until mid afternoon. Decided to explore some new roads between Tenterfield and Texas, and also have a look at Glenlyon Dam.

Local isolated congestus persisted in the area but there was very little chance of further thunderstorms activity. Storms were visible well to the north.
