SITUATION
At 0000 UTC a Tropical Low was centred within 25 nautical miles of
 latitude nineteen decimal zero south (19.0S)
 longitude one hundred and sixteen decimal two east (116.2E)
Recent movement : southwest at 3 knots
Maximum winds   : 30 knots
Central pressure: 996 hPa
The low may develop into a tropical cyclone in the next 6 to 18 hours.

AREA AFFECTED
Within 60 nautical miles of the centre.

FORECAST

Maximum winds to 30 knots near the centre increasing to 50 knots by 0000 UTC 27
January.
From 0600 UTC 26 January winds above 34 knots within 60 nautical miles of
centre, with rough to very rough seas and moderate swell.
Forecast positions
At 1200 UTC 26 January: Within 55 nautical miles of 19.5 south 115.8 east
                        Central pressure 989 hPa.
                        Winds to 40 knots.
At 0000 UTC 27 January: Within 85 nautical miles of 20.2 south 115.6 east

At 0600 UTC Tropical Cyclone Dominic  was centred within 25 nautical miles of
 latitude twenty decimal one south (20.1S)
 longitude one hundred and fifteen decimal six east (115.6E)
Recent movement : south southwest at 8 knots
Maximum winds   : 45 knots
Central pressure: 987 hPa

AREA AFFECTED
Within 60 nautical miles of the centre.

FORECAST

Maximum winds to 45 knots near the centre increasing to 50 knots by 1800 UTC 26
January, then easing to 30 knots by 0600 UTC 27 January.
Winds above 34 knots within 60 nautical miles of centre with rough to very
rough seas and moderate swell.

 latitude twenty decimal seven south (20.7S)
 longitude one hundred and fifteen decimal three east (115.3E)
Recent movement : south southwest at 8 knots
Maximum winds   : 50 knots
Central pressure: 982 hPa

AREA AFFECTED
Within 60 nautical miles of the centre.

Maximum winds to 50 knots near the centre easing to 40 knots by 0000 UTC 27
January and then easing to 30 knots by 1200 UTC 27 January.

The cyclone is weakening over land and gales are no longer expected over marine
